Klauden of the Unbound Quill is an anonymous scholar and chronicler of uncertain affiliation. Once believed to have held the rank of Illuminated Scholar within the Scholarium of Radiant Truth, Klauden's name was expunged from its registry following the unauthorized publication of several research compilations the Luminous Conclave declined to acknowledge. Whether this amounts to exile, voluntary departure, or something more deliberate remains a matter of speculation.

What is documented — in the margins of texts that predate any official record, in footnotes that no archive claims to have approved — is a body of work spanning theology, regional history, aberrant phenomena, and the kind of questions the Scholarium trains its Seekers never to ask.

Klauden does not write for institutions. The quill, as the epithet implies, answers to no one.
